It is then pre-seasoned with food-safe oils that condition the metal for an extra boost of rust resistance and a natural, easy-release cooking surface right out of the box. No use of coatings means you can use metal tools to flip, press, and scrape without worry. It reaches over 500°F and heats evenly for consistently cooked food across the cooktop. Plus, adjustable feet let you level the griddle on uneven surfaces, and an expandable stand (sold separately) makes the Slate® Tabletop Griddle perfect for using at home, camping, tailgating, and more.
