DESCRIPTION
FA-1 Concrete Finishing Aid is a clear, colloidal silica
finishing aid featuring nano technology to improve the
finishing characteristics of freshly placed concrete. FA-1
Concrete Finishing Aid features a state-of-the-art
specialty polymer to provide greater lubricity to freshly
placed concrete surfaces, allowing finishing tools to glide
more easily and reducing the effort required to finish
concrete.
Used under hot, windy or low humidity conditions, FA-1
Concrete Finishing Aid will extend working time without
“blessing” the surface with additional water or harming
surface durability and strength. Its colloidal silica formula
will densify fresh concrete surfaces and improve durability.

DIRECTIONS
Mixing: FA-1 Concrete Finishing Aid is packaged readyto-use. Do not dilute. Lightly agitate before use.
Application: Apply to fresh concrete surfaces prior to
float or trowel finish. FA-1 Concrete Finishing Aid is best
applied with a pressurized hand-held sprayer at a rate of
600 to 1,100 ft2 / gal (74 to 102 m2
/L). Apply evenly and
uniformly to concrete surface leaving no pinholes or gaps.
Do not allow material to puddle. Do not over apply. Do not
allow material to freeze.
The finishing process may require multiple applications.
FA-1 Concrete Finishing Aid is intended to be worked
into the concrete surface, producing a high-quality finish.
CLEANUP
Clean tools and equipment with warm water and soap or
detergent before material dries and hardens.
STORAGE
Keep from freezing. Store tightly sealed containers in warm,
dry area on pallets above 40°F (4°C) and below 95°F (34°
C). Shelf life of properly stored material is one year from
date of manufacture.
LIMITATIONS
 Do not over apply.
 Do not allow material to freeze.

WARNING
May be harmful if swallowed. May cause an allergic skin
reaction. Causes eye irritation.
Precautionary Statements: Avoid breathing dust/fume/
gas/mist/vapors/spray. Wash hands and skin thoroughly
after handling. Contaminated work clothing should not be
allowed out of the workplace. Wear protective gloves.
